Home sweet Home

Melina

Today’s partnerlook is all about casual comfort with some homewear from Luca David. I like their AW 15/16 collection so much! The german summer is really changeable. Today it is cold and hot too, a strange mixture of autum/summer-weather. I´m really thankful to be able to travel a lot and the german "summer" taught me to keep on travelling just like that. By the way: The shootinglocation was our home. I haven´t shoot before at home, but maybe I will shoot more often in the future! Since we´ve bought the new flat we have bought so many nice furniture so maybe I will write more often about some furniture.

Enjoy your week,

Melina

Black suede dress

I will keep todays post short because I´m feeling a little bit sick. For this look I combined a suede dress from NÖR Denmark with my Lace-up Sandals from Ancient Greek Sandals and my Clutch from Zara. I absolutely love how comfy it is! Normally I think of suede and I think of the cooler weather. Well not today! This outfit was super lightweight and comfortable. I hope you guys enjoy this look!
By the way: My hair is undone, do you like it or should it be more sleek?

Kosho - Cosmetics with Matcha

Kosten:
Deutschland 116 € via Kosho Cosmetics Shop
Schweiz 119 CHF via Kosho Cosmetics Shop

Melina
The Kosho cosmetics "Deep regeneration cream" and the "Multi-Effect Peeling" is without question the most luxurious and expensive range of treatment products I've ever had.

Kosho Multi-Effect Peeling

What Kosho say...
"The effective Multi-Effect Peeling with exclusive organic matcha extract removes scales and impurities gently and effectively. The special oil gel that turns during use in a nourishing cream, provides your skin already during the peeling with important antioxidants of the exclusive organic matcha extract. Precious oils give your skin a velvety feeling and improve the skin’s appearance. After the exfoliation your skin is smoother and can absorb up to 70 percent more of the active substances of the subsequent Kosho Matcha Effective care products."

Ingredients:
Prunus Amygdalus (Sweet Almond) Dulcis Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract, Sucrose Laurate, Oryza Sativa Bran Cera (Rice Bran Wax), Aqua (Water), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Water, Parfum (Fragrance), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Octyldodecanol, Bisabolol, Physalis Angulata Extract, Tocopherol, Echium Plantagineum Seed Oil, Hexyl Cinnamal, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cardiospermum Halicacabum Flower/Leaf/Vine Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Citronellol, CI 75810, CI 77289

My Review:
The fragrance is amazing, it smells like Matcha-tea. It’s very refreshing and not overwhelming. The texture is a gel-type with gentle green microbeads in it. I’m very picky when it comes to scrubs and fragrances because of my sensitive skin and this one was perfect : I did not feel any irritation or anything while & after using it. After using it my skin was perfectly smooth, bright and clean.
Even though it is not a pore troubles peeling it definitely made my pores less visible. It took me 3 uses (in one week) to see really good brightening results, it’s definitely an excellent scrub. Even though this peeling contains fragrance and microbeads it fits all skintypes, even sensitive to very oily ones. This peeling might be a bit pricey but a little goes a long way so the price is worth the amount.

Kosho Deep Regeneration Cream

What Kosho say...
"The nourishing Deep Regeneration Cream with exclusive organic matcha extract, Japanese crocus and precious oils activates your skin’s own repair system and provides intensive moisture. It reduces wrinkles visibly and improves the skin’s ability to absorb and store moisture. Working against the signs of aging, it regenerates your skin deeply and gives it new vigor and energy. Japanese crocus activates the production of collagen and elastin through cellular communication, increasing the strength and elasticity of your skin. The skin looks younger, brighter and softer."

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Propylheptyl Caprylate, Undecane, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Squalane, Tridecane, Silybum Marianum Ethyl Ester, Acacia Senegal Gum, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Crocus Chrysanthus Bulb Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phragmites Communis Extract, Poria Cocos Extract, Physalis Angulata Extract, Algae Extract, Pullulan, Arginine, Tocopherol, Dioscorea Villosa Root Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Alcohol, Lecithin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Carrageenan, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Oleyl Alcohol, Phenylpropanol, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide, Glycine Soja Sterols, Hexyldecanol, Benzyl Salicylatem, Potassium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool, Geraniol, CI 75810

My Review:
Not surprisingly this cream does hydrate skin very quickly. It’s an absolute travel essential for me! The creme is famously packaged in a plain white jar. It’s very simple in design but over the years has come to be a classic symbol. It’s not overly feminine packaging and I think that plays well for the men who use this product as well.
I think it´s important to invest in a good nighttime cream because at night is the best time for the skin to get repaired and replenished. Remember that your skin will be unable to get any hydration from anything but the moisture that your nighttime facial cream will provide. The skin uses the night time to replenish and repair itself. It’s also a time when the skin won’t be able to hydrate itself from any other source, so the moisturizer I put on before bed will generally be richer and harder-working than the one I use in the morning.

Into the blue

Aktuell

I´m loving head to toe blue shaded colors for a warm summerday and this dress is a real boho statement. I´m drawn to Saint Tropez for their relaxed, casual pieces that can easilybe transit  from day to night without breaking the bank. I love their lightweight dresses like my greek-influenced dress, and the beautiful viscose dress (here) which is perfect for a summer date night. All the every day essentials are quickly finding their way into my closet :-)

So, whether you’re stocking up your closet for next weeks or your next tropical vacation, take a look at some relaxed styles from Saint Tropez (check out their final sale) and my shopping picks for an inspiration!:-)

Denim allover & Matcha-Lemonade

Alles was ihr dazu braucht:
500 ml kaltes Wasser
1 Teelöffel Matcha-Tee von Aiya
Zitronensaft
Zitronenschnitze
Honig oder Agavendicksaft

Zubereitung:

Denim. This trend has become quite popular recently and -I for one- I’m very happy about it. For today’s look I wanted to keep it simple and paired the denim dress from Zara with denim sandals from Zara. Do you like it? Apart from this today is the second day of my Detox-Matcha-cure. I´ve figured out the perfect refreshment during hot summer days (hot tea is not a real refreshment:-). Cold-brew matcha is perfect for almost any time of day, and is an easy-to-prepare drink that you can make on the go.

All you need is:
500 ml of cold (filtered) water
Lemonjuice (organic)
Slize of lemons (organic)
Honey

Directions:
Add matcha to water. Cap and shake for 10 seconds until matcha dissolves. Add some slizes of lemon, lemonjuice and some honey or agave syrup.
You have to try it :-) Andi drink the lemonade as a post-workout drink.

Detoxweek with Aiya Matcha-tea

Was ist eigentlich Matcha-Tee?

- „Innere Kosmetik“: „Anti-Aging-“Effekt
- man verbennt schneller Kalorien

 Was ihr dazu braucht:
Aiya- Matcha-Tee
Bambuslöffel (Chashaku)
Matcha-Besen
Matcha-Schale oder Teetasse

Zubereitung:

After some exciting trips this summer and some busy days, I feel like I need a quick detox to jumpstart my metabolism. When doing a cleanse, it is essential to select one that fits your body’s schedule & needs. I picked Matcha tea by Aiya to rid my system of toxins because it fit perfectly with my work schedule. The cleanse consists of seven days with different matcha-smoothies, vegetarian food with lots of fresh vegetables (I won´t eat meat this week), lots of water, & a few matcha teas . E-mail me for extra special details on this cleanse: melinaaltmail@gmail.com

But what is Matcha tea? Matcha, a type of green tea made by whisking finely powdered whole tea leaves, is taking over cafes all over the world, and more thanks in part to its high antioxidant content and roots in Far East rituals. There aren’t many natural drinks out there that can pack a punch quite like matcha tea does. If you’re into antioxidants, this tea is for you! But antioxidants aren’t the only thing matcha has going for it:

- Matcha boosts the metabolism
-reduces stress with a compound called l-theanine
- supports healthy immune function
- is packed with antioxidants including the powerful EGCg
- Boosts metabolism and burns calories
- Detoxifies effectively and naturally
- Calms the mind and relaxes the body
- Is rich in fiber, chlorophyll and vitamins
- Enhances mood and aids in concentration
- Provides vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium
- Prevents disease
-Lowers cholesterol and blood sugar

All you need is:
Aiya - Matcha tea
Bamboo Scoop (Chashaku)
Bamboo Whisk
Matcha Bowl or a Teacup

Directions:
Using the bamboo tea scoop, measure out 1 ½ tea scoops (or 1 perfect tea spoon) of matcha into the matcha bowl. Add water and using the bamboo whisk, whisk rapidly until tea is dissolved and liquid is topped with a light colored foam. Zig zag patterns and concentrating the whisk on the center of the bowl works best! Drink immediately, before powder has time to settle. It is normal for some powder to remain at the bottom of the cup.

And if you’re on the hunt for a substitute to coffee, a matcha-latte may be right up your alley :-)

I will follow this routine for 7 days and see the benefits, so stay tuned :-)
