Sweet Dreams from the Dreamcatcher in Puerto Rico

Willkommen in Puerto Rico!

Dazu zählen u.a.

Welcome to Puero Rico! As you guys remember, I went from Miami to Puerto Rico with Andi to spend the Newy Years Eve there.

We headed to Puerto Rico to enjoy some nights on the beautiful island and checked in at our hotel, called the Dreamcatcher. The hotel is designed by Sylvia, one of the owners whos an interior stylist and it´s the only vegetarian hotel in Puerto Rico.

The cute, hippie look of the check-in area felt refreshing, as we sipped a cold glasses of selfmade organic tea. We were escorted to our room where we had a small, yet charming balcony and an outdoor rainshower. Our room had a small kitchenette and was one of the designer rooms. There was also a nice separate bedroom.

The hotel was a few minutes away from San Juan centrum where all the shops and restaurants were, so it was easy to grab a taxi to take us over there or we have taken our rentcar. We enjoyed strolling through the narrow streets that were so calm. They were filled with nice villas and some cats crossed our path and came over to say "hello". I genuinely enjoyed having a relaxing time with Andi and do some yoga at the beach.

The Dreamcatcher offers a huge amount of activities like yoga and meditation classes, sightseeing tours, paddle boarding or nature-adventure tours outside of the typical touristy options. You can also borrow a bicycle and go for a ride around the neighborhood beaches or the popular Loíza Street. Here’s a little glance of what our hotel was about!

How do you like my impressions? Stay tuned for more travel inspired blogposts from Puerto Rico and Miami.
